Notes:

- About 5 minutes into "Oye Como Va" the high end dropped off quite dramatically so I have eq'd it to bring it back up.
- The caption that comes up for track 3 on DVD 2 is "Samba De Sausalito" but is in fact "Free Angela".
- there are few rough patches on the tape from which this was transferred, but overall the quality is pretty good.
- there is a banner displayed throughout, at the bottom of the screen, that says "Santana Japan 73" and the word "depas" is visible
throughout most of the video and shows up at various positions on the screen.

Comments:

* These performances are from the 6th and 7th July.

They are from two different tv broadcasts so it's hard to tell exactly what comes from which show. The songs are not sequenced in the order that they were played. The original DVD that I took this from was not authored very well. I have re-authored it to cut out tv advert breaks and several other extraneous sections and put each broadcast on a seperate DVD.

The film director seems to have used his full bag of visual effects, he peaks on "Mantra", where you experience the ultimate acid free trip.

Carlos spent most of these shows with his back to the audience, getting off on the music. I saw them later on this tour, when they played in Sydney, Australia near the end of July and it was probably one of the best shows I ever saw. He also faced the band for most of this show too. I remember that there were some idiots in the crowd that expressed their dissatisfaction because he wasn't paying attention to them. When the music was this good I didn't care where he was looking!
